This workshop style seminar provides non-financial managers and site staff with the tools to fully comprehend the backbone of site financials: monthly operating statements.
Covering relevant and updated topics - including interpreting your operating statement, understanding financial terms, PHAS updates, and more - this session will ensure that attendees have the skills to analyze and build site budgets.

About the Speaker
The seminar will be delivered by Claire E. Russ, Senior Consultant, Trainer and Client Services contact of Asher PHA Finance, LLC.

Asher PHA Finance, LLC
Prior to working with Asher PHA Finance, LLC, Claire Russ was a Property Manager at 1260 Housing Development Corporation/ Columbus Property Management in center city Philadelphia. She managed several multi-family, scattered-site housing programs, working with behavioral health and HIV-diagnosed head(s) of households.
Claire currently assists her PHA clients with successful asset management implementation and building operational best business practices. She conducts management assessments, assists with development of site based budgets, refines allocation plans for compliance with asset management, develops site operational monitoring mechanisms and reports, and delivers customized staff training.

Facilities
We are pleased to offer the below-government rate of $175 per night (valid only for the nights of Wednesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 14) for our guests who will be joining us at the hotel. The block of rooms will be available first come first served, and the guaranteed rate expires on 4/19/10.
The guest room block and seminar event will both be located at the beautiful W Chicago Lakeshore - the only hotel overlooking that overlooks Lake Michigan, is close to Navy Pier and has a flip-flop perfect beach next door.
